Characteristics and application areas of polyurethane panels

Polyurethane insulation panel is also called PU panel. It is a bi-metallic, single-metallic or non-metallic composite panel with rigid polyurethane foam as the thermal insulation layer. It is a highly efficient and energy-saving building envelope material with wide uses and great potential. It is also advocated and promoted by the Ministry of Construction. Features:

1. Pu panel has low thermal conductivity and good thermal performance.

2. Pu panel wall has moisture-proof and waterproof properties.

3. Polyurethane insulation panel is fireproof, flame retardant and high temperature resistant. Polyurethane is a flame-retardant, self-extinguishing material after adding flame retardants. In addition, when polyurethane burns, it will form carbon deposits on the surface of the foam. This layer of carbon deposits helps isolate the foam below.

4. Due to the thermal insulation properties of polyurethane sheets, under the same insulation requirements, the thickness of the building's outer envelope can be reduced, thereby increasing the indoor use area.

5. Strong resistance to deformation and not easy to crack.

6. The porosity structure of polyurethane materials is stable and basically closed-cell structure. It not only has thermal insulation performance, but also has good freeze-thaw resistance and sound absorption.

7. Low overall cost performance. Although the unit price of rigid polyurethane foam is higher than that of other traditional insulation materials, the increased cost will be offset by significant reductions in heating and cooling bills.

Cold chain transportation:

Polyurethane panels can be used in insulated compartments of refrigerated trucks to help maintain a constant temperature inside the vehicle, reduce losses caused by temperature differences during product transportation, and help preserve agricultural and sideline foods.

Cold storage warehouse:

As people pay more and more attention to food safety, the number of cold storages continues to increase. In recent years, due to policy support, the number of rural self-built warehouses and county-level large-scale cold storage has continued to expand. Large logistics companies have rushed to build cold chain warehousing and logistics networks. Cold storage panels with polyurethane as the main raw material have been widely used.
