Pass box characteristics and maintenance

The main purpose of the pass through box is to block the air flow to the clean room when transferring materials and purify the materials entering the clean room, so as to minimize the environmental pollution caused by dust brought into the clean room by the materials. It is installed between the clean area and non-clean area or between different levels in the clean area, as a buffer zone for materials entering and exiting the clean room.

Mainly used in semiconductors, liquid crystal displays, optoelectronics, precision instruments, chemistry, biomedicine, hospitals, food, research institutes, universities, aerospace, automobiles, painting, printing and other fields.

Regular equipment maintenance of the pass box should be carried out, and problems should be dealt with promptly to ensure normal working needs; the equipment should be cleaned every day at work and after get off work, the access panel should be opened regularly, and the internal screws should be tightened to prevent the pass box from not working properly due to looseness. , if the power indicator light does not light up, please check whether the power socket connection is reliable and whether the fuse is blown.

After the pass box has been used for a long time, the noise when opening and closing the door is too loud. You can open the access panel in the box to adjust the working gap, and regularly check the purification efficiency, bacterial colony count, and wind speed in the work area (usually three to six months).

When it is found that the wind speed has become smaller, the transfer window should first check whether the surface of the pre-filter is black. If it is black, it means that the pre-filter contains more dust and the resistance increases,the non-woven fabric of the pre-filter should be removed for cleaning or replacement. If the wind speed still cannot be increased after replacing or cleaning the non-woven fabric, it means that the resistance of the high-efficiency filter has increased. At this time, the air volume button can be adjusted to increase the fan air volume, thereby increasing the air supply surface wind speed.

When the air volume adjustment button is adjusted to the top and the wind speed still cannot be increased, it means that the high-efficiency filter has been completely blocked, and the high-efficiency air filter must be replaced. When replacing, pay attention to whether the model of the high-efficiency air filter is correct, and recognize the arrow mark on the high-efficiency filter. The arrow should point in the direction of air flow.

After the high-efficiency air filter is replaced, it is necessary to confirm that there is no leakage in the frame. The pass box can work normally only after reaching the technical specifications. The electrical circuits should be inspected regularly, and any faults should be eliminated in time.
